CONTENT CREATION Leadership Development Program led by Senior Leadership
Client:A multinational product company in consumer electronics and semiconductors.
The Assignment: As part of the HR Initiatives for the year, one of the key focus areas was 'Building the Company's Top 60 Leadership Platform'.
Our mandate: To design a Leadership Development Program for mid-level managers, built around the Company's leadership competencies. A key expectation was to create an innovative and new approach to Leadership Training that would be delivered by internal facilitators comprising of members of the Senior Management Team.
The Approach:
The design approach involved data gathering to understand each of the competencies, level descriptors and their relevance to the different business verticals
Each module used a combination of methodologies; slides, discussion, audio-visuals, small group activities and self-assessment, keeping in mind that leaders from within the business were the facilitators
The use of relevant and current market realities to create real-time cases as part of the content; for example the use of a sample set of consumers as part of one session
Design Highlights:
A detailed Facilitator Manual to ensure seamless translation of the content, by multiple facilitators.
A Participant Guide with reading material and self-assessments
The handover for the Program was achieved through a two-step process:
One-on-one meetings with each internal facilitator for a 'walk through' of their respective sessions, in preparation for the Program
Shadowing by a CoCoon facilitator, for the first Program delivery, with detailed feedback to each facilitator at the end of the session
