INTEGRATED LEARNING PROGRAMS Designing a Leadership Development Curriculum
Client:India Development Center of Giant Technology Solutions Company.
Context: The organization's strategic business plans required a very large number of senior leaders to manage and lead business priorities over the next 2-3 years. The client was focused on grooming and building internal capability to meet this requirement.
While the organization had a Global Leadership Program that had successfully run in other geographies, they wanted to modify it to meet the needs of the India Organization and its growth and development plans.
Our Brief: Design a 14-month Leadership Development Calendar for 150 High Potential Senior Leaders, identified by the organization.
Elements of the LD Calendar:
Multiple learning tools keeping in mind the audience's professional experience and learning styles. Some of these included action learning, workshops and classroom sessions, experiential learning and self reflection
Diverse focus areas and objectives: opportunity to learn from global leaders and network with them, learning from industry experts through best practice sharing, business case studies and projects embedded in the current and future challenges and plans of the organization
Outcome: The Leadership Development Curriculum was extremely successful in meeting the objectives outlined and since been adopted by the businesses of the organization in several other geographies.
