TRAINING NEED ASSESSMENT

We conduct training needs at two levels: Organization / Business and Individual.  At the organization / business level, our TNA solution focuses on the creation of an entire training blueprint for the organization or specific needs identification at required levels/projects/business lines.

At the individual level, we achieve this through feedback, development centers and role skill maps.

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Through our Instructional Design solution, we partner with you to conceptualise a program and create the required material to support its delivery – facilitator notes, participant workbooks, audio-visuals, activities etc. Be it a high impact 4 hour program to  ‘Drive Values at the Workplace’ or a 3 day Leadership Program facilitated by the Management team, CoCoon has provided end to end content design support to these programs.

Needless to say, we design and customize every single program that we deliver! Some of our design energies are channelised in the following areas:

Branding: Creating excitement, impact and recall of the learning / development event through branding, in our experience enables higher participation, transfer of learning and involvement of key stakeholders. Some of the work that we do in this area includes:
   
Branding the program: creating the appropriate theme, messaging around the program, working with the internal team to design the logo etc
Creating material with look / feel / visual impact in alignment with the branding
Designing (scripts / ideas) the content for audio-visuals for the program

Innovative methodology and Instructional Design: CoCoon Programs use methodology that borrows from a number of sources.
   
Workbooks with multiple sections: CoCoon workbooks lend themselves to use during the program and also for action planning/ mapping takeaways to the workplace, after the program
Using non-work related activities and methods to enhance skills / behaviours required at the work place
Working with children to teach them a new concept as part of a coaching skills program
Organising a community service event as part of a leadership program to help participants examine their leadership behaviours in an unstructured situation
Getting participants to understand and meet the needs of a different customer audience to help understand customer orientation: For example getting them to design a house for villagers in a seismic zone in Uttraranchal

BEHAVIOURAL SKILL TRAINING DELIVERY

CoCoon’s programs range from Individual Effectiveness Programs to Interpersonal Effectiveness, Leadership Skills and People Processes & Support programs.

In our experience, increasingly, as one climbs the organization hierarchy, training programs seem to have limited impact. Individual development through one-on-one development planning and sustained coaching is an area that CoCoon has been able to create significant impact at young, middle and senior leadership levels.

CoCoon’s capability building practice team has a team that has between 6 -15 years of experience in training, HR, operations and psychology. This multidisciplinary approach has enabled us to deliver programs that create a genuine impact on the learning and development needs at all levels in the organization.
