Context:The Accelerator seeks out and partners with young, high-potential microfinance institutions, helping them build capacity, attract capital, and unite them with their network to achieve rapid, sustainable growth.
The results of a recent People Practices Organizational Diagnostic that was done with its Partner Organizations (CoCoon was engaged in this part of the assignment as well) revealed that all the Partner organizations required significant assistance to scale and augment capacity from a People Process Perspective. Basic, critical HR systems and processes were not in place in most organizations.
The Assignment:
CoCoon was commissioned to develop an HR Toolkit for the Partner MFI organisations to build capability and strengthen people processes in the areas of:
Organization Design
Staffing
Performance Management
Compensation and benefits
Training & Development
Talent Management
The Toolkit offered a readily available suite of processes, templates and guidebooks along with guidelines for customization.
This Toolkit was then disbursed to all the partner organizations for internal use.
